i badly wanna go to FIJI..

but most of my friends here are thinking about their budget..

well i understand that… since this is quite a last minute plan, so the flight ticket to fiji is very expensive.

so..i dont think i can go there alone..actually im willing to go there alone, but for safety reason, i dont think my parents would allow me to do so.. i really2 wanna go there.. and planning to take an open water diving course. anyone interested? jum lah join nanti!

well.. maybe next time, somehow, some day… i WILL go there while im studying here in NZ

okay then… plan B –> the SOUTH ISLAND of New Zealand, activate yourself in NZ!

assalamualaikum and haiiiii to everyone.

I just got an email this morning, and i bet other malaysian in Palmy got it as well.

It is an email about a debate competition that will be held here, in Palmy, and this is the general information:

Title: Pertandingan Bahas Ala- Parlimen Piala Kelab Umno NZ-Chair of Malay Studies 2009
Dates: 6th and 8th of July 2009.
Venue:Conference Room of Kingsgate Hotel, Palmerston North
Time: 6.00pm – 11.00pm

These two will be the topics for the upcoming debate competition,

First round,
1. PPSMI (Pengajaran Dan Pembelajaran Sains Dan Matematik dalam Bahasa Inggeris) wajar diteruskan.

Second and final round,
2. Malaysia : Aspirasi pemimpin masa kini dan inspirasi negara.

Ahaa… both are hot topics especially the first one. Well.. even me sometimes give my opinions to other blogs discussing these topics. And..all malaysian have been arguing about PPSMI since last few years, and i feel kind of tired about that. hmm it is all politics~ it is a never ending story issue~

but hey, it’s been such a long time saying kind of ‘good bye’ to the debate and elocution stuff. yep.. since i left high school.. but i think i am more into elocution rather that debate.. and  i did much more well in elocution and won lots of prizes but lose quite badly in debate. hahaha not enough skill and experience, perhaps.

Well, in UMS, i just joined an organiser team for the national debate event, but not a debater. And Im very glad that i’ve been chosen as a representative speaker of all  graduate students in UMS 2007, to give speech during the graduation ceremony. Actually, at first, i straightly rejected the request to give the speech, but then my dad got mad at me, haha. yeah i know, i should grab that golden opportunity. then i called the HEP staff and agreed to give speech on that special day of mine. My dad and I prepare the speech just a day before the graduation day. Thanks ayah for helping me preparing the speech! All i want is to make my mom and dad happy and proud of me. and more.. at least i have the same experience like my dad, he has been chosen to give speech in his graduation ceremony as well, in USM.

by da way.. back to the topic, well..this might be a good opportunity for me to try and feel back the debate atmosphere.. haahaa.. but the dates seems not so good for me. i’m thinking to go somewhere else for this holiday and havent decide it yet. haha.. it seems like many people want me to go back home, malaysia.. (see the poll result) yeah i miss malaysia.. the food.. arhh.. durian, rambutan, maggis, apom balik, roti canai, murtabak.. and many2 more…wahahahah. hmm.. should i give a try? or maybe just become a viewer, but not a debater. hehehe…

will keep on updating… before going for a vacation trip, perhaps.

Friends? yeahh i already have friends to enjoy together for this trip

Money? It’s okay, for me, it is worth to spend my money for travel

Time? I think I will be free at the end of June and early July, a week trip, perhaps

sad…

im just so sad.. basketbal league is over. we made up until final. but we lost in the final game. Im sad not because of losing the basketball game.. but because of the season is over. yep..basketball league is over, which mean that no more basketball tournament every monday, no more playing basketball with my cool team, no more enjoyable monday night. huwaa.. most of my team members are exchange students. there will be going back soon.. i will definitely miss them so much. i really2 enjoy playing basketball with them..seriously.. ahh.. well.. so sad-lah. xpuas main tau. i wanna play more.. i will upload some basketball photos later on~ i am sooo damn sad.. oh nooo

well.. my journal articles are calling me.. got to go now.. ‘husna, read me read me, u still got lost of assignments-lah..’ ahhh i hate that..huhu

Exam is just around the corner ..but still..

Hi guys,

2 weeks more, huhh.. 2 weeks to go.. my final exam is coming..so soon..
Time is running so fast.. and..still..I’ve got lots lots lots of assignment to be done. 5 more essays.. i have tried to use all my precious time wisely.. but still…

I have requested for extension of deadline of my essays..not all.. just 2 of them. I will try to finish 3 of those essays within this 2 weeks and will maintain study every night.. i hope i manage to cover everything i need b4 the final exam. Ya Allah, give me the strength..
whenever i feel down.. or miss home.. i like to watch this video from youtube

anyway, i still play basketball.. hehehe.. Kairanga Kings is the top team now.. we are leading.. yess.. and i know.. we’re gonna win in this league tournament.. i hope so! kairanga is always the king of the court. and next week is the semi-final and final. I hope kairanga can win all the games!! go guyss.. i know we can do it~

My plan after the exam weeks?
-Run run run and keep on running.. hit the palmy!… i wanna be fit.. I have to build back my endurance!
-travel around NZ.. winter is coming, it’s gonna be so cold down here..and i dont know which place is the best to visit.. maybe South island? Fiji island? or just North island?
-training for Bersatu Games (im gonna play basketball and…run for 400m for this Bersatu Game..maybe) actually im not a sprinter, well just have a try first!
*Bersatu game is the Msian Sport event in NZ. All Malaysians from all over NZ will come to Palmy (massey univ. is the host this year) for this annual big event. We will rock bumi Palmy with basketball, soccer, badminton, netball, futsal, takraw, tennis and many more games. Oh yeah.. athletic track as well.. 100, 400, 4×100, 4×400. all da best!!

Bestnyaa: Basketball, Wellington & SEA games

Salam and Hello everyone,

There are many things to update here. I will make it simple and short.

Last Friday, i jogged from main campus Massey uni to Hokowhitu campus at night..and alone. The weather was quite cold, but we can warm up ourself as we run. So, not a big matter. But im a bit worried as im not really familiar with the route to Hokowhitu campus. Anyway, I enjoyed my running at night. Just a short running but enjoyable. The running distance was approximately 3.3km with the pace 6.43/km. Well.. what was I did in Hokowhitu campus at that Friday night? haha.. of course only SPORT is the reason. what else i will do apart from my assignments, right? well..I usually play indoor sports  (futsal or basketball) with Kiwis friends at Friday night. and that night.. we played BASKETBALL… wahh bestnyaaaa. i love to play basketball since in high school~ Here are some photos :

The next Wednesday, I went to Wellington~ Aysha, Sharina and I joined the Massey uni day trip to Te Papa Museum in Wellington. I have been waiting to go to this museum since last semester. We departed from Massey around 845am and arrived Wellington around 1245 noon.

We just stopped by at Lindale for lunch and short break. There is a Farm and a variety of retail gallery shops, and the Kapiti Cheese & Ice Cream shop.  I indulged myself with NZ’s favourite icecream; hokey pokey.

Our journey from Palmerston North to Wellington took about 2 hours. The scenery in NZ was amazing, very beautiful. I’m sorry, there’re not many photos to share, some of them still in my friend’s camera. Anyway, this are the photos of me and aysha in Wellington.

Ohh….we forgot to take photos in front of Te Papa Museum. Te Papa is the NZ’s national museum. You can explore the nation’s nature, art, history and herritage. If you really keen to know more about the NZ’s people, wildlife and culture, Te PaPa is the best choice of place to go! Anyway, it was a nice trip. Thank you to International Department of Massey Uni for organizing this wonderful trip.

And.. this is the most interesting part…

On Saturday, April 25, 2009. SEA games event! It was a sport event day for Malaysian, Singaporean and Indonesian. There are basketball, soccer and volleyball games in this Sea games event. Well.. what did I play? hehe I bet you know the answer, basketball.. what else huh. There was only one match for basketball girls game; Malaysia Vs Indonesia. Here are some photos:

I am looking forward to play basketball for Kairanga court team this coming Monday. Massey Uni basketball league is still going on. yeahh basketball again. heh heh.. bestnyaaaa I  just love this semester~

Thank you again? Yeahh I like to thank people. of course everyone like to thank people for their kindness.

Thanks to ayu, khuzai, zuria, sharina, yusma, ain, hana, fairuz n aysha and also fifiy for my surprise birthday party. You guys really surprised me. Never in mind thought that I will celebrate a birthday party in NZ. heheee, sweet memory of mine.

Not forget to thanks to Noha as well.. hehe Thanks for remembering everyone about my birthday (although it is a wrong date ). Everyone thought my birthday was on 14th but not 12th. well.. it doesnt matter at all.. It is so glad and feel so appreciated when we know that our friends care for us. Read Ayu’s and Noha\’s post entry to know the so call ‘backstage’ story~ hehehe. Your intention to celebrate my birthday and come up with many plans is really really appreciated. I have been thinking all day and night…

At last…I came up with so many plans. I have to work hard to fulfill all my dreams. I have so many goals (main and minor, long-term and short-term goals) to be accomplished but getting confuse in prioritizing them. ahaaa.. But..at least I know what to do in order to spend my time wisely.

I have been thinking for years… and I just found and realize that I have a talent in …….. (hehe rahsia), which I could make use of it in the future. Well.. of course I have to polish it more and gain lots of experience and knowledge to improve my skill and upgrade it to the next level. All I need is courage and belief in myself. I will work hard to achive my targets…yes you can~

One of my other targets is.. to become a  marathoner…My target is to run half marathon by the end of this year and full marathon by the end of 2010 or early 2011!!! This is something really big and i have to take it seriously. so.. what r u waiting for??? keep on running… break the WALL!! All is in your head. Strong mental is needed and of course, strong physical demanding..hahaaa.. go on Huserk~ (encourage myself huh?)

Really hope to become a better person in the future. amin
